How to Spot Pure Ghee (and Avoid Adulterated Jars)
Adulteration is real in the low end of the market. Here is how to reduce your risk when buying ghee online.
Check the label
A genuine product names the milk source and method. "Cow ghee" with no brand story and a rock-bottom price is a red flag.
Texture and colour
Good ghee is golden, grainy when cool, and smells nutty, not waxy or perfumey. Colour that is unnaturally bright yellow can mean added colour.
Buy from known brands
Stick to established Indian brands and buy through a trusted marketplace link. We only list brands with a real presence, and we link you straight to Amazon India so you see the reviews yourself.
If the deal looks too good, the jar probably is not what it says.
